Showcasing your trophy-winning buck entails more than a quick trip to the taxidermist. If you want your whitetail to last, follow our tips to protect it from dirt and damage. When hanging your trophy, use a Stud-Finder to locate a secure spot that won’t destroy your deer or the wall. Avoid hanging your mount in areas prone to extreme temperatures—mildew becomes an issue in these locations. Polish antlers using a liquid wood cleaner, and clean hair with a Windex-dampened cloth.
