Deadly Scent Drag Combinations
One key to Code Blue urine’s success is its individuality. Each bottle contains the urine of an individual deer, never a blend of urines from a bunch of deer like other companies. With the use of Code Blue, multiple bottles represent separate deer, which means you have options when it comes to scent drags.
Try two separate bottles of Code Blue Buck Urine on a double drag. Soak one drag in the urine from one bottle, then soak the other drag in the urine from a different bottle (check serial numbers to make sure you’ve got urine from different deer) to simulate two different bucks. The same goes with doe urine. Soak one of the drag tassels in Standing Estrous, which is collected while the doe is receptive to being bred, and soak the other drag in regular Code Blue Doe Estrous or plain Doe Urine. Two does means twice the chance of getting to breed.
Taking that method up another notch, try soaking one drag in the urine from one Standing Estrous bottle, and the other drag in the urine from a different bottle to simulate two does ready to be bred.
During the very early season, try using a drag soaked in Raccoon Urine to cover your trail coming into the stand.
